Actress Cameron Diaz and her husband, musician Benji Madden, say they are "blessed and grateful" to welcome baby Cardinal Madden into their family.

The couple announced their son's arrival in an Instagram post they shared on Friday.
"He's amazing and we're all so happy he's here! For the kids' safety and privacy, we won't be posting any photos," the post captioned the cardinal as "really cute."
"We feel so blessed and grateful," read the post, which included an illustration with the words: "A little bird whispers to me."
