Prepare for more enchanting tales of magic and intrigue as HBO is in the process of developing three new Game of Thrones spinoffs to further explore the beloved fictional realm, as per multiple reports.
The network is actively working on three prequels, set in the Game of Thrones universe before the events depicted in the original series. These spinoffs will delve into the stories of characters who played significant roles in the rich history of the world crafted by George R. R. Martin in his novels.
At the early stages of development are two projects tentatively titled Flea Bottom and 10,000 Ships. Currently, there are no assigned writers or showrunners for these potential series, according to reports from Variety.
In parallel, the third spinoff, named 9 Voyages, is under the creative guidance of Bruno Heller, co-creator of Rome. This series is set to center around Lord Corlys Velaryon, famously known as The Sea Snake, an iconic nautical adventurer from the bygone eras of Westeros.
